CNC Supervisor - 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced CNC Supervisor to lead second-shift machining operations. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising employees, setting up and operating CNC equipment, troubleshooting production issues, training employees, and supporting continuous improvement.

Job Duties

Supervise and direct second-shift CNC and production employees
Set up and operate CNC turning and/or milling machining centers
Edit programs and assist with setup of new machining jobs
Troubleshoot machining and production issues
Train operators and setup personnel
Improve existing machining processes, programs, and setups
Monitor production rates, quality, and workflow
Assist with tooling needs and job scheduling
Perform routine preventative maintenance as required
Support 5S and continuous improvement activities
Maintain compliance with quality and safety procedures
Communicate production information with first-shift supervision, management, and maintenance
Assist with hands-on production and machining as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Five or more years of CNC machining experience required
CNC setup and machine operation experience required
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Ability to edit CNC programs and troubleshoot machining issues
Strong math skills, including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to train employees and manage multiple priorities
Dependable attendance and commitment to safety and quality

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent grasping and repetitive motion
Ability to frequently lift up to 45 pounds
Occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds
Ability to safely work around CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment

Schedule

Full-time
Second Shift
Monday through Thursday
4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
Additional hours may be required based on production needs
